DCS began in the late 1980’s, 1989 to be exact. It began as a company that built indoor cookware. Not all BBQ’s are built with BBQ access doors. Many grills and bbq’s are built on top of a hollow stand that becomes wasted space. These stands are made of solid metal panels and do not assist with the supporting of the grill or the structural integrity of the BBQ. It is possible to build access doors into these areas and provide a storage area for the grilling supplies and the propane or coals used to cook with. Other BBQ’s and grills have BBQ access doors, but these doors may not conform to the specific décor that is used on the porch or deck where the grill is stored. This can cause the grill or BBQ to clash against the surrounding tables and chairs, making for […]

All of the particles of ash and other material that has accumulated around the area should be cleaned using BBQ cleaners or soapy water in order to prevent a possible fire hazard. Again you’ll want to use your wire brush for the areas that are a little bit tougher, and in combination with a good barbecue cleaner it should come off with little trouble at all. Once you’ve cleaned around the burners, go over the entire surface of the grill with BBQ cleaner and a rag and make sure all of the excess ash and grease has been removed. While you’re cleaning the inside of the grill, it’s also a […]
Before you use the BBQ brush, there are some food safety things you should check and ensure before using the brush on your food. The first thing is to verify that the brush is clean. This is especially true if it has been a while since the brush has been used. Just because the brush has been washed after being used, this does not guarantee that the brush has not gathered dirt or dust. Most brushes are stored in a drawer and the bristles do give the brush a lot of area in which the brush may hold dust and dirt. The other thing to verify is that the bristles are in good condition and not falling out. If the bristles are falling out of the […]
